James Brolin Enjoys Listening to Barbra Streisand’s Music in His Car

James Brolin, the husband of iconic singer Barbra Streisand, recently shared on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen that he is a huge fan of his wife’s music and often listens to it while driving. The couple, who have been married for 25 years after meeting on a blind date in 1996, are still going strong and planning a special road trip in Brolin’s pickup truck.

Brolin revealed that the best anniversary gift he ever gave Streisand was a “really nice car” and reminisced about their early days together when they would go on road trips in his pickup truck. He fondly recalled their adventures and how Streisand used to marvel at the truck stops they visited.

When asked about his favorite Streisand movie, Brolin quickly named 1987’s Nuts, praising his wife’s performance in the film. In the movie, Streisand plays a call girl charged with killing a client and is encouraged to plead insanity.

As the couple looks forward to their 26th wedding anniversary in July, Brolin revealed in a joint interview with Gayle King that he proposed to Streisand three times before she said yes. Streisand joked that she needed to “try them out for at least two years” before accepting. Brolin also shared that he was celibate for three years before meeting Streisand, emphasizing his commitment to waiting for the right person.

Overall, James Brolin’s love and admiration for Barbra Streisand shine through in his sweet gestures and heartfelt words, showcasing their enduring love and strong bond after decades together.
