JetBlue Expands European Service with Inaugural Flight to Edinburgh

JetBlue, the American low-cost airline, has further expanded its reach into Europe with the launch of its inaugural flight to Edinburgh, Scotland. The flight departed from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York and marked the fifth European city in JetBlue’s network.

According to Warren Christie, JetBlue’s chief operating officer, the growth of the airline’s destination offerings to over 100 locations in just 24 years is truly remarkable. The addition of Edinburgh to their network allows JetBlue to introduce its signature low fares and exceptional service to a new international audience.

The daily flights to Edinburgh will be operated on JetBlue’s Airbus A321neo aircraft, departing from New York in the evening and arriving in Edinburgh the following morning. The return flights from Edinburgh to New York will depart in the early afternoon, allowing travelers to make the most of their time in both cities.

To celebrate the launch of the Edinburgh route, JetBlue is offering introductory fares starting at $499 roundtrip for Core (economy) and $2,999 for Mint (business class). Travelers must purchase a roundtrip ticket, stay for at least three nights, and book by May 24 to take advantage of these special fares.
