During the Ecosystems 2030 tech summit in La Coruña, Google’s Senior Director of Engineering and Research Strategy in AI, Pilar Manchón, highlighted that the company is on the right track after a busy decade, emphasizing that “AI is revolutionizing everything.”
Manchón also pointed out that artificial intelligence will help people save up to 80% of their time due to its capability to optimize work processes.
“We must ensure that no one is left behind. It’s important for people to have a say in this society we’re building, as we are the problem we aim to solve,” stated Pilar Manchón.
Global Approval of AI
According to studies, AI approval is predominantly higher in emerging countries. An estimated 77% support this tool due to its success in democratizing technology, compared to the lack of trust in traditional institutions like governments or the media.
“We are in a revolution, a new renaissance. We face a new world with the rules of an old one. We need new rules and an understanding of how this new world functions,” added Manchón. ###########
